Donkey [RIP]

Donkey was a birthday present to me from Fred. I knew I wanted to get a new hamster, and had gone looking for a girl in a few stores. I didn't see any hamsters I liked though, but we kept looking and found Donkey at the last store we tried. I was a little hesitant, but he was too cute to leave, so he came home with me on April 10, 2010.

I didn't name him for a few weeks, but the day I got him, Fred was suggesting silly names and "Donkey" was one of them. It was silly enough and sounded good, so it stuck.

Donkey is a very active boy, and he enjoys running around the apartment, especially on his own. He's a very sweet-natured boy and is very well-behaved.
